Simply Asia, Thai kitchen Instant rice noodle soup

I have to be perfectly honest with all of you, it has been a really, really and I mean really long time since I ate roman noodles and I had a slight hope that these would taste as good.
When I opened the bag, and took a wiff of the noodles, it smelt like a chemical and I was a little hesitant to keep going and cook this.

I put my noodles In a microwave safe bowl, added one cup of water, the seasoning and oil that came with it.  Truthfully, it looked rather nasty.

After I microwaved the noodles and they were done, I did another smell test.
This time it smelled more pleasant, it had an aroma of seasoning you'd think to put in spaghetti, it almost smelt like marinara or tomato juice with herbs.
The noodles were nicely cooked but extremely slippery and not very sticky.
The taste was strong with a lemon pepper and salt flavor but yet watered down even though I followed the directions on the bag.

Overall, it works to replace roman noodles, but the noodles are not the same in consistence as the regular Roman noodles.

I am not really a huge fan of this gluten free product but some of you may enjoy this?!.
It does still have that nice lemon flavor but once again, very watered down.

I give this product a 3 out of 5 star rating.
Tried this before?, I would love to hear what you think of it.

Katz Gluten Free Blueberry Loaf

I am  BIG fan of blueberry muffins and well, just about anything blueberry.
So you can imagine my excitement when I saw that Katz Gluten Free had Blueberry loaf bread.
I immediately bought it and couldn't wait to try it out.

The length of the loaf itself was kinda on the smaller side but still perfect for me.
The inside of the bread was a combination between moist and dry, moist enough to the touch and taste but dry enough to crumble very easily. The dryness of this bread could of been because it was frozen but I am not sure exactly.

The taste was spot on.
If you shut your eyes, you wouldn't be able to tell if you were eating a blueberry muffin or if it was this amazing blueberry loaf.  It had the perfect amount of blueberries in it and It had me craving more and more.

This would have been great to have tried with a hot cup of coffee but I unfortunately didn't think of trying it until now. Guess I will have to try it next time I purchase this.

The crust on this bread is just perfect, it's texture and moisture is that of freshly baked, home made  banana bread, only it is blueberry instead. Something I didn't expect to experience since it is gluten free after all.

Katz also has another flavored loaf called Lemon Poppy Loaf.

If it is anything like their blueberry loaf, I have to get my hands on some of this!

Once again this product blew my mind, how does Katz Gluten Free do such an amazing job?.
There are a lot of horrible tasting gluten free options out there but then there are companies like
Katz which make products that make you forget you are even on a gluten free diet.

I give this product a 5 out of 5 star rating.

Schar multigrain gluten free bread

This bread is one of the 2 brands I tried before I found Rudis bread. This Multigrain bread is harder and can break easy, I can only imagine how hard it will be after toasting it. The texture is very grainy and it's similar to eating stale bread. Schar Multigrain Bread has more of a wheat or whole grain taste but isn't as good.
This bread has to be stored in the fridge to keep fresh.

I give this bread a 3 out of 5 score

Smart & Delicious wraps

While shopping at the grocery store, I spotted these Smart & Delicious Wraps and had to try them. When I took them out of the bag, they were very dark brown but very moist. If you were to fold these wraps, they would probably have a tendency to break on you. I decided to make myself a cheese and meat quesadilla and used the microwave to cook it. After all of the ingredients inside were melted, I took it out of the microwave. When I went to cut it, I noticed the tortilla wanted to curl up and not stay together, even when the cheese was inside of it.
Regular tortillas are A LOT better then these are with more of a floury taste, where as these wraps have more of a bitter corn taste. These wraps will do in a pinch but I have to say, I am not a huge fan.
I made some quesadillas for my kids out of these wraps and they weren't fans either.

I give these wraps 2 out of 5 stars

Rudi's multigrain gluten free bread

When I found out that I could no longer have regular bread, I was worried that I was going to have to say good bye to bread altogether, which meant, I could never have sandwiches again, no more peanut butter and jelly goodness or any grilled cheese. Lucky for me, Rudis bread tastes just like regular bread if not better and the best part is (It's gluten free). Before we stumbled upon this bread, I tried two other brands of bread and had horrible luck. This bread must be kept in the freezer to keep it fresh but once it is thawed out, it's moist and delicious. The after taste of this bread is that of Molasses and it's easily craved.
I recommend this bread to anyone who has Celiacs disease or is Gluten sensitive.

I give this bread 4 out of 5 stars

Udi's gluten free white bread

Tried this bread out a few days ago and I found it to be a little tasteless and small.
The bread had a hard time popping out of the toaster and my lunch meat fell over the sides because it was so small.
This bread is on the harder side when both thawed and frozen but it does the job.

I give this product a 3 out of 5 score.

Quinoa elbow noodles

My Mother in Law bought these for me to try out because I mentioned to her that I absolutely love the Quinoa Spaghetti noodles. I just made a dish with these noodles in for lunch today and boy was it divine. The noodles have more of a sandy texture to them but they have an amazing after taste. I made a macaroni and cheese dish with 2 different kinds of cheese, cut up broccoli and ground turkey. The dish was a hit with 2 of my 3 kids (One was being picky) & I myself ate 2 helpings, IT WAS GOOD!!
*Thinking about putting the recipe up here for all of you to enjoy, should I?*

Never the less, I will be purchasing these noodles again.
A BIG THANK YOU GOES OUT TO MY MOTHER IN LAW!

I give these noodles a 5 out of 5 score.
